RIP Ever Loyal Friend

 

We primarily show our dogs having an occasional litter with the hope of retaining a puppy as a conformation show prospect.  All other puppies are placed in homes on a pet spay/neuter contract.  We test our breeding dogs for PRA/PRCD, Hereditary Cataracts, annual CERF, MDR1, DM and OFA hips. We strive to produce healthy puppies with great structure with smart, willing, confident with biddable temperaments.  At 8 weeks of age puppies are structurally evaluated based on the Pat Hastings technique where pups are rated as show/breed or pet/performance prospects.   

Our dogs are part of our family and are not raised in a kennel. Puppies are whelped in our home and stay there until they leave for their new homes.   We prefer our puppies go to homes that want a "house" dog and a family member and not a "yard" dog.  It is an injustice to put a dog in a yard and not allow it to share its love with a family.
